Subject: Well done recording
The sonic quality of this recording is exceptional for being on a 78rpm. The interpretation is quite acceptable, if a little rushed. (This seems to be typical on 78rpms and cylinders, where time restraints meant that conductors had to watch a stopwatch while recording to make sure that they fit movements within the limits of the recording medium.)
